Continental Trade Exchange Featured In Several Newspaper Stories
New Berlin, Wis., December 27, 2001 -- Continental Trade Exchange, Ltd. (CTE), one of the nation's leading barter systems, has recently been featured in articles on the business pages of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Green Bay Press-Gazette, Waukesha Freeman and Appleton Post-Crescent newspapers. Most of these articles stressed the growing use of barter in the slumping economy. Though many companies have been struggling since September 11th, CTE's business continues to thrive, as the company consistently hits record numbers in both trade volume and general revenue. Dale Mardak, CTE vice president, stressed the positive effects that barter can have on the businesses who learn how to use it fruitfully. He said: "Since 9-11, we are seeing greater use of the dynamic economic tool of barter. Business and professional people of all walks of life are learning that membership in our trade exchange can bring them new customers, conserve their cash and, in general, make them more profitable."
