International Monetary Systems Enrolls 291 New Clients in Third Quarter

Total Represents an Increase of 100% over Previous Year

New Berlin, Wis., October 21, 2004 -- International Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTC BB: INLM), a worldwide leader in business-to-business barter services, today announced that it enrolled 291 new member/clients in the third quarter of 2004, the highest quarterly number of client signups in company history. This represents a 100% increase over the total for the second quarter of 2003.
