International Monetary Systems Plans Series of Barter Expos

First Event Nov. 6 in Wisconsin

New Berlin, Wis., October 25, 2004 -- International Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTC BB: INLM), a worldwide leader in business-to-business barter services, today announced plans for its 14th annual Wisconsin/Illinois Barter Expo & Holiday Gift Show on Saturday, Nov. 6. Nearly 100 exhibitors will be offering their goods and services on a barter basis to hundreds of other trade exchange members.

The event, hosted by the company's principal operating unit, Continental Trade Exchange, will be held at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex in Franklin, Wis. A special feature of the event will be the silent barter auction, in which more than 150 hard-to-get products, travel packages and special-event tickets will be auctioned off to attendees.

The November Expo is the first in a series of similar events that International Monetary Systems will be hosting in Wisconsin, Ohio and California.
