International Monetary Systems to Seek Institutional Capital

New Berlin, Wis., November 04, 2004 -- International Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTC BB: INLM), a worldwide leader in business-to-business barter services, today announced that it has entered into an institutional-funding agreement with Pavek Investments, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI.

According to the Letter of Intent, the Pavek group will serve as the investment banker for International Monetary Systems (IMS). In that capacity, Pavek will counsel and guide IMS in the preparation of its strategic business plan and in the planning and design of potential securities offerings. Additional services which Pavek Investments will provide include obtaining of capital for mergers and acquisitions, assistance in document origination, and other related services.
