Donald Mardak, President and CEO of International Monetary Systems, Talks to the Wall Street Transcript

New York, March 25, 2004 -- The Wall Street Transcript has published an in-depth interview with Donald Mardak, President and CEO of International Monetary Systems (OTC BB: INLM), in which he talks at length about the Company's business strategies.

The entire 2,500 word interview is available free online at http://www.twst.com/ceos.htm

International Monetary Systems (IMS) serves more than 6,000 customers in 16 U.S. markets. IMS is one of the largest publicly traded barter companies in the world and is continually expanding its exchange locations. The company's proprietary transaction network enables companies and individuals to trade goods and services throughout North America. Using an electronic currency known as trade dollars, IMS exchanges allow companies to create cost savings and to improve operations by taking advantage of barter opportunities in their business models.

In describing the Company's recent financial history Mr. Mardak states, "Our revenues were right around $4 million in 2003. And that total is up from about $2.9 million in 2002, $2.1 million in 2001, and $1.5 million in year 2000. So we have been growing at that strong pace of about 30% per year."

Regarding the company's strategy, Mr. Mardak said: "This industry is now at a point where there is a great opportunity to roll up a good portion of the players. That is our goal. As the major independent trade exchange in America, and the only independent trade exchange whose stock is publicly traded, we have the ability to use, not just cash or trade dollars in purchasing a business, but we have the currency of our publicly traded stock to use in acquisitions."
