International Monetary Systems Sets New Client Enrollment Record

318 Members Signed up in 4th Quarter

New Berlin, Wis., January 18, 2005 -- International Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTC BB: INLM), 318 new member/clients in the fourth quarter of 2004, the highest quarterly number of client signups in company history. This represents an 89% increase over the total for the fourth quarter of 2003.

For the entire calendar year of 2004, IMS enrolled a total of 1,049 new clients through its outside sales team and added another 1,240 members through two acquisitions.

CEO Don Mardak stated: "These numbers represent a very dramatic increase in new-client sales. It is also quite significant that these are not just in one or two areas, but cover the entire spectrum of the 25 markets that we now serve."
