International Monetary Systems Agrees to Acquire United Trade Network of Las Vegas

New Berlin, Wis., August 25, 2005 -- International Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTC BB: INLM), a worldwide leader in business-to-business barter services, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets and client base of United Trade Network (UTN) of Las Vegas, NV. The transaction also includes the UTN clients in Los Angeles, California. This will be International Monetary's fifth trade exchange acquisition in the past four months.

In April of this year, International Monetary Systems purchased United Trade Network's Reno, Nevada operation.
