International Monetary Systems Announces Metrics for February
Company's Revenue Increases 109%
New Berlin, Wis., March 16, 2007 -- International Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTCBB:INLM), a worldwide leader in business-to-business barter services, today provided sales volume and revenue figures for February. The Company had substantial increases in revenue, trade volume, and client enrollments. The February 2007 results are:
- Trade Volume for the month totaled more than $8 million, an increase of 110% from February of 2006 when trade volume was $3.8 million. These amounts represent sales only -- just one side of the transactions.
- Gross Revenue billed was nearly $1.1 million, compared to just $526,000 for February of last year, a 109% increase.
- New-Client enrollments established another all-time high, with 239 new members joining the barter network in February of 2007. In February of last year, 121 new clients were enrolled.
Don Mardak, CEO of IMS, stated: "Because of our recent acquisitions of two of America's largest barter systems, our management team had projected substantial revenue and trade-volume increases during this period. But we did not expect to see growth in excess of 100%. These remarkable numbers once again testify to the success of our strong broker-training and customer-service programs. Most impressive, however, is the enrollment of 239 new members in just one month. I don't believe that any trade exchange has ever approached that level of new-client signups."
