International Monetary Systems Announces Metrics for April

Revenue Increases 93%

New Berlin, Wis., May 29, 2007 -- International Monetary Systems, Ltd. (OTCBB:INLM), a worldwide leader in business-to-business barter services, today provided its sales volume and revenue figures for April. Once again, The company had substantial increases in revenue, trade volume, and client enrollments. The April 2007 results are:

  • Trade Volume for the month totaled more than $9 million. (This amount represents sales only -- just one side of the transactions.) In April of 2006, trade volume was $4,570,000, for an increase of 97%.
  • Gross Revenue billed was nearly $1.1 million, compared to $570,000 for April of last year, a 93% increase.
  • 259 new members joined the barter network last month, compared to just 79 in April of 2006. This represents a new-member-enrollment increase of 228%.

Don Mardak, CEO of IMS, stated: "Every passing month provides more evidence of the consistent growth in all aspects of our business this year. Our increasing new-client enrollments, along with our recent acquisitions, are creating record revenues and cash flow. The strong showing for April continues the trend that was established in the first quarter of 2007."
