This stained glass panel is made from a classic Tudor pattern. A typical Tudor style window consists of small panes in geometric patterns. In medieval times, glass was very expensive and windows tended to be small. This panel is made from 42 pieces of blue glass in a variety of shades and textures. Blue Rough rolled glass is used as a border for a dramatic affect. It measures 11" by 13.5 " and is framed in a zinc frame. A chain is attached for easy hanging.
The window is made in Ohio. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, sanded, wrapped in copper foil and soldered together. This window has been treated with black patina. The chemical reaction will cause the zinc frame to have an antique appearance.
