Our newest Syrah is a brooding meditation in a glass. Upon first sight, one is struck by its saturated color - a dense, midnight cherry. The nose slowly unfurls in whispers of peppercorn, vanilla pipe smoke, a murmur of forest floor, and rich dark berries. As it awakens in the mouth, the fruit emerges – not with a boisterous shout, but with the hushed elegance of a Marionberry Olallieberry compote, deepened by dark chocolate.
