Soda Rock Winery Mixed Case

Soda Rock is steeped in history, and if the mossy old stone walls could talk, we’d hear some colorful stories. We strive to honor what has transpired here over the past 150 years in Soda Rock's history with our wines. With a large line-up of Cabernet Sauvignons and Bordeaux varietals, Soda Rock wines are big & bold, just like its historic past. This mixed case features 6 bottles of each of the following: 2023 The Stables Cab Franc - Subtle herbaceous aromatics mingle with ripe cherry and dried strawberry notes. The silken entry takes on a bolder stance as the wine flows across the palate, revealing a firm yet softening framework of tannins, bright acidity and fine-grained oak. Though a core of tree-ripened Bing cherry dominates the flavors, raspberry, strawberry and hints of eucalyptus also join in. As the wine opens, oak spices, a touch of tobacco and an inviting minerality appear, adding dimension and layers to this classic Cabernet Franc.  2023 Smith Orchard Cab Sauv - The subtle nose offers mocha-laced oak woven into nuanced aromas of tart cherry, red currant and brambly blackberry. Spicy cedar serves as the palate greeter, followed by flavors of North Star cherry, red and black currant, Black Beauty plum and a trace of mulberry. Bright acidity accompanies the classic Cabernet flavors, lending a brightness to the wine’s dark essence. Fine-grained oak contributes appealing mocha and woodsy notes.
