HAND-MADE Celestial Dreamscape Pin / Brooch By Juried Artist

This high-quality crafted pin/brooch was created by Jim Mullan, a mixed-media artist, who for many years showcased and sold his creations at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival in Miami, Florida. After the 90's, he and his wife Tori who is also an artist, transitioned from producing pins and brooches to creating larger, more substantial works which can be seen in over 1,000 galleries, museum stores and specialty shops worldwide. MEASUREMENTS: 1 1/8" W X 2 1/4" H This unique pin/brooch which is one-of-a-kind combines patinated metals, hand-painted detail and miniature charms and a bead. The piece was designed and created in the 90's and connects the celestial element of the moon with that of the dream world. It blends surrealism and deep symbolism to represent the subconscious, intuition and inner reflection. The winged gold-tone heart symbolizes spiritual freedom and divine love. The rocket with the word, "Dreams" beside it conveys ambition, imagination and a drive for personal growth. The clear glass bead positioned above the moon's face symbolizes a celestial focal point like a guiding star and represents cosmic focus or the ethereal nature of the night sky. *NOTE: The pin/brooch can also be worn as a necklace by attaching a silk cord to the pin. Comes with a velvet black draw-string pouch (the pouch did not photograph very well, so the pouch looks a lot better in person).
