Mint: United States Mint
Year of Issue: Randomized, orders may include pre-1965 coins
Prior to 1965, all US circulation coins with a face value greater than a nickel (dimes, quarters, half dollars, and dollars) were composed of 90% pure silver. The high intrinsic value of these coins relative to their face value resulted in the mint replacing them with copper-nickel coins. However, these 90% silver coins are still valued and traded for their bullion content.
What You Receive
Your order will be comprised of any combination of 90% silver coins, including modern silver proofs (1992 to present). The designs and dates of the coins you receive are based on available inventory and may or may not contain an assortment. Coins may show signs of aging and wear. The majority of coins will have dates, however some dates have worn off. Regardless, you will still receive at least 715 ounces of silver. Coins are not bent or holed.
These coins offer investors an affordable, convenient, and easily divisible means of owning silver. No matter what happens to the price of silver, 90% silver coins will always be worth at least their face value, making them a smart way to hedge against more volatile investments.
You can safely store you 90% silver coins in coin tubes or canvas totes.
