Size from edge of paper Approx 8" x 8" Image size Approx 3" x 3" An etching is a printing technique. Old masters like Rembrandt worked with this centuries old hand-printing technique. A steel engraving needle is used to create the design on a zinc or copper plate. To create the deep outlines of the characters they use a hand driven printing press on wet hand made paper. After drying the etchings are hand painted with watercolors. All etchings are produced in strict limited edition and are hand numbered. Produced under copyright of Disney. Every etching is an original work of art due to each being hand painted. Once 500 have been produced they can no longer make any more. On each etching underneath the character next to the edition number is written in pencil “© DISNEY”. This is a brand new work of art that has never been framed. Certificate of Authenticity included.
