With summer just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about summer vacations. Don’t worry, the IMS Travel Department has a few properties you should check out:

1.) The Inn San Francisco

Our bed & breakfast in San Francisco is centrally located in one of San Francisco’s oldest and most historic residential neighborhoods near the Mission Dolores, about 16 blocks into the heart of the city from Union Square. The Mission Dolores area is an energetic neighborhood with a wide variety of small shops, galleries, colorful murals and over 100 restaurants within ten blocks of the inn.
The Inn San Francisco has been thoughtfully and lovingly restored to create an inviting aura of past splendor and elegance of the Victorian era. Amenities include a 24 hour hot tub, rooftop sundeck and flower-filled garden. From our rooftop sun deck, you can see Twin Peaks, Cathedral Hill, City Hall, Union Square, the Financial District and The Bay Bridge.

2.) 1083 Guest House

3.) McCaffrey House Bed & Breakfast Inn

Nestled in a quiet forest hollow in the California Mountains, this delightfully warm and charming 3-story country home was designed and built by your hosts, Michael & Stephanie McCaffrey. Each guest room is artfully decorated in an accent of colors borrowed from the queen or king-sized quilts, all handmade by the Amish of Lancaster County, PA. All rooms have a black iron fire stove, private bath and shower or tub, individual thermostat and some have private balconies or patios. The peaceful forest provides the back-drop from each window. An outdoor spa is available for guest use.



4.) St. Bernard Lodge

St. Bernard Lodge is the perfect home base for outdoor enthusiasts of all stripes. No matter what season you visit, an adventure is waiting here for you. The region is filled with endless opportunities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, camping, fishing, kayaking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, wildlife viewing, and so much more. We are located just over a mile away from the world-renowned Pacific Crest Trail, 20 minutes away from the SW entrance of Lassen Volcanic Park, 15 minutes from Lake Almanor, and one hour from Drakesbad, Juniper Lake, and Cinder Cone. We are also the perfect place to stopover on your journey from Crater Lake or the Redwoods National Forest.

When you are not off exploring the wonders of the Northern California wilderness, there is much fun to be had inside the St. Bernard Lodge. Kids will have a blast playing our, puzzles, checkers, backgammon, chess, and ping-pong maze. For the adults, we offer a custom-made Olhausen pool table and dartboard. The lounge area is a great place to visit with other guests or to just catch up with your favorite book.


5.) Miracle Springs Hot Mineral Water Resort & Spa

Nestled in the foothills of Desert Hot Springs, just minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, MIRACLE SPRINGS RESORT & SPA overlooks beautiful Palm Springs (13 miles away) and the California desert's Coachella Valley. 6.) Requa Inn

The Historic Requa Inn is located at the mouth of the Klamath River less than 1 mile from the Pacific Ocean along California's north coast in Redwood National Park. There are 12 guest rooms, each is different. Breakfast is included. While staying at the historic Requa Inn, please ask us about dinner. We serve dinner each evening by request of a hearty, homemade soup or salad with artisan bread. Dinner options run 6:30-7:30pm each evening. Call for reservations. There are no phones or TV's in the guest rooms. Well-behaved children over 8 may stay in specific rooms. Rates are on the website.



7.) The Treehouse
